Last week Andrew Bolt was deeply embarrassed that both the ABC and David Marr dared point out the homophobia and racism that runs freely at his blog of shame. Africa’s tragedy: A foundation set up to award a $US5 million ($5.4 million) prize for good governance in Africa has said there will be no winner this year because it could not find anyone to award it to.
As usual Bolt played victim, blaming everyone but himself for what happens at his own blog. It may be easy to call Bolt a racist, I don't know if he is but I do believe he willingly plays up to an audience that he knows is racist. If that is better or worse, I don't really know.
Today was a perfect example of his usual tricks. He wants to criticise Obama for anything and everything and also point out the colour of his skin at every opportunity as a dig against him, but it has to be subtle so no-one can yell "Racism".
It was just a tiny post about African governance and the corruption and mismanagement that is all too common in the continent.

It's intentionally subtle and nonsensical so that Bolt can blame everyone else for how it would be interpreted. But what point other than racism could this be? Africa is poorly governed, Africans are black, Obama is black therefore he must be hopeless because of his race. It's the sort of bullshit he peddles to his gang of chromosomingly challenged nitwits every day.
His racist jibe even bought a birther to the forum.
